After some silent days...

Found my self founding a company that deals with web builder. One highly potential and interesting project. The company is a startup focused on development of new age platform for websites creation. Unlike others this does to creative the ability to work on unlimited canvas on animations driven web interfaces. The product breaks the rule of standardized responsive layout making the work flow of designer easier and fluent. Imagine the way you can edit the website like in Illustrator or Photoshop? Sounds like a dream. This drastically differs from the common tools like like Wix, Squarespace, or Webflow. The product is an interactive website composer where you can create websites that have support to mobile native gestures like swipe and pinch. It is unique in terms of the approach to designer workflow and final result. The project carries a name of Webpgr (sounds like web pager).

Recently, finished the logo design for the project which. The logo depicts "W" letter in brackets which stands for fictional HTML markup. The logo is has several options presented bellow for various occasions. The digital version is designed to be on screens and the colours it uses can not be printed. Light grey is for printed media like business cards face. Dark grey version for extreme cases where non of other options may be applied. The logo is born from a pixel.

The background is the part of the concept where zoom-in and zoom-out is the major them. It would be like a difference between space bodies and molecules.

To me, it is always starts from a sketch... Or a scratch. The best way is to make ideation process directly on object. In this case its my body. The hairy hand :)))

Made some rework on paper, just because its hard to make exact lines on human body. Then more accurate and stylized shapes were transferred by carbon paper back to hand to be outlined by machine.

The masters art work were in-scratched on me by Ari Akkerman. Overall tattooing work time took about 26 hours, split to three sessions. Cybercore!!!

Images for Teva gallery online shop promotion. Animals obsessed by OlaLiola's illustrations wearing the Owla masks.
Ola is extremely talented designer, super accurate person and deep appreciator of nature. She started her career from very young age. As a child she lived in grandmothers house in Ukrainian village with rich nature around. Her first illustrations was inspired by this place. The rare animals for her young art she picked from magazines, books, encyclopedias and post cards hardly available in that area. Later in her works started appear different mixes and influences of a nature, fashion, masks and femininity creating unique and romantic style.

Sick of coffee.

Hebrew word נמס (names) - melting, dissolving, resolutive, soluble, deliquescent;
transformed to נמאס (nem'as) - to despise, detest.

PS: The worst coffee i ever tasted.
Application of different graphic designs on the models that was built in part 1. The most work was done on 26 panel ball just to reduce the quantity of work. From this point was chosen 3 directions and further reduced to one.

This is the version that was mostly liked by Mitre.

A lot of work on finalization of design for side view was done. Deep search for the best configuration of stripes connection.

Was decided to stay at clean look and the 3d model passed to stage of rapid prototyping. Half of the ball was printed by Multicolor ZPrinter from ZCorp, that i learned to operate during the project. The model was created to test the effect of spinning ball and graphics proportions. That was really great expirience to maintain and manage all process.

Taking layout to production. One of the biggest challenges was to flatten the spheric shape and make the lines come together. With help of Omri was created draft patching from masking tape and then translated to vector.

After that was made adaptation of the graphic design to new 10 patch. Final result.

The quick execution order from my good friend Apex Mind for brutal hard style party. Tasty meat...

The project started from study of an old English sport brand. Mitre has established at 1817 by Benjamin Crook and till today its leading UK brand in sport equipment. During period of two hundred years this company have many times innovated the world of football, rugby, netball and cricket. This company with its heritage and strong statement is a serious competitor of Adidas, Umbro, Nike and Puma.

I got inspiration of earth theme from this certain image. This image shows the Mitre's Delta 1000 official ball of Football League, League Association and the Scottish Football League of UK Cup.

That image connects to element of earth and appear on Mitre Revolve ball as geodesic map graphics. In future Tensile design planned replace the glorious Revo.

To get discrepant design i have created many, many sketches. It was only way to get special, unique and memorable look. The design that will jump out form thousands of already created designs. For inspiration i have used projector and simple graphic images. That tools gave me hundreds of inspiration images in very short period.

After that i have moved to hand drawing to organize the best ides on paper. Here appearing only small part of sketches that i have presented to Mitre.

Six concepts or better to say themes was selected for further development. 3D modeling and prototyping. I have built in Solid Works 3 blank balls of needed layouts. The 26 patch ball was most difficult one to 3D realization.

And after. The work is not finished yet, but final result is seen already.

Few ideation sketches of outline made in Photoshop just to check the proportions and design of the hungry monster hanger.
