Some time ago I performed a present for my good friend and co-founder of Webpgr, where I work.

The board hanger for Falko's various skateboards. The hanger is designed to hold 9 differently shaped rides with various wheel sizes.

For the wall hanger design I tested several variations and the final decision led to a kind of a parking lot design. Three from about 10 design variations presented bellow. I generated, multiple structural concepts where one of them was acrylic laser cutting, but due to low budget we cut to the vinyl sticker and off-the-shelf clips hanger. And the nice thing about this clips that it carries same name as Falko's family name. :)





Pogi - tough electroshock weapon with an innocent toy guise. The ultimate solution for a ladies personal protective equipment and cute on bag toy. Pugi is hidden form attackers sight under funny toy character that can be used  instantly to change the situation in favor of the victim. Its an easily accessible tool in a moment of a high tense and a very stressed situation. The research results shows that 90% of ladies can not approach their self protection weapon in the critical, pressured moment just because of the mess in the bag. The concept of Pogi is based on solving of this special problem.

The design is inspired from japanese anime characters. It's scared look empathizes with a frightened state of a wearer, but like any hero character he ready to use its fantastic power for the justice.

Most of its life Pogi handled upside down in order to facilitate quick access to its main function.

To enhance the grip and isolate the internal components, legs and arms made of soft silicon material and the body is coated by colored rubber touch finish.

Back to 2007 I got a job to model an inclosure backpack of batteries and electronics, then create images of full model with male person. The exoskeleton for disabled peoples was designed and engineered by Taga team for Argo Medical Technologies. This product gives back the ability to walk to person with severe walking impairments. ReWalk is breakthrough in medical tools created to give a substitute to low wheelchair.

I have made some sketches renderings for short contest at idsketching, but submitted it to late. :) Was to busy, you know...




I have digged out a model of wireless vacuum cleaner from studies. It was designed for Philips brand which could represent future design language for their house hold products line. Model are hand made from polyurethane foam and covered by filler then painted with warm metallic color car paint.

Nice advertisement video, which tells the history of Mitre brand balls and illuminates its uniqueness. At the end the main role takes Mitre Tensile, the ultimate 10 patches football with most advanced properties.

Berghaus company has released the Optimus premium travel luggage. Berghaus is an English brand specializes on high-quality outdoor equipment, makes a very practical, long life products. Two years ago I had luck to work for Berghaus and participated in first phase of development for that line and proposed initial look for external design. In second phase I concentrated on solutions for internal separation structure.

Application of different graphic designs on the models that was built in part 1. The most work was done on 26 panel ball just to reduce the quantity of work. From this point was chosen 3 directions and further reduced to one.


This is the version that was mostly liked by Mitre.

A lot of work on finalization of design for side view was done. Deep search for the best configuration of stripes connection.





Was decided to stay at clean look and the 3d model passed to stage of rapid prototyping. Half of the ball was printed by Multicolor ZPrinter from ZCorp, that i learned to operate during the project. The model was created to test the effect of spinning ball and graphics proportions. That was really great expirience to maintain and manage all process.



Taking layout to production. One of the biggest challenges was to flatten the spheric shape and make the lines come together. With help of Omri was created draft patching from masking tape and then translated to vector.






After that was made adaptation of the graphic design to new 10 patch. Final result.

The project started from study of an old English sport brand. Mitre has established at 1817 by Benjamin Crook and till today its leading UK brand in sport equipment. During period of two hundred years this company have many times innovated the world of football, rugby, netball and cricket. This company with its heritage and strong statement is a serious competitor of Adidas, Umbro, Nike and Puma.


I got inspiration of earth theme from this certain image. This image shows the Mitre's Delta 1000 official ball of Football League, League Association and the Scottish Football League of UK Cup.


 That image connects to element of earth and appear on Mitre Revolve ball as geodesic map graphics. In future Tensile design planned replace the glorious Revo.


To get discrepant design i have created many, many sketches. It was only way to get special, unique and memorable look. The design that will jump out form thousands of already created designs. For inspiration i have used projector and simple graphic images. That tools gave me hundreds of inspiration images in very short period.






After that i have moved to hand drawing to organize the best ides on paper. Here appearing only small part of sketches that i have presented to Mitre.




Six concepts or better to say themes was selected for further development. 3D modeling and prototyping. I have built in Solid Works 3 blank balls of needed layouts. The 26 patch ball was most difficult one to 3D realization.
